Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the difference between a complex verse a non complex assessment?A complex ergonomic workstation assessment dives deep into intricate issues, taking up to 60 minutes (& longer of necessary). The assessment addresses impacting injuries, health conditions, &/or challenging work environments. It examines systemic factors like unique equipment and environmental conditions affecting the employee's well-being.

In contrast, a non-complex assessment is quick and straightforward, typically lasting 30 minutes, ideal for new hires or general evaluations without significant health concerns. Essentially, complex assessments tackle the tough cases, while non-complex ones cover the basics!

What is included in each assessment? In addition to the assessment and assessment report, all assessment types include the following:
- Provision of Coordinated Health Ergonomic Workstation Setup Reference Card
- Facilitation of a trial and/or recommendations for purchase of identified ergonomic workstation equipment
Where recommendations for new workstation equipment has been made (including chairs), research will be undertaken to determine the most appropriate item for the individual employee with consideration to the work environment. Two alternatives will be presented where possible. If a chair is recommended, a trial will be arranged to ensure the chair is the most appropriate for the individual employee. Quotes can be provided.

How much does an ergonomic assessment cost in Sydney?Pricing depends on the type and volume of assessments required. We offer competitive rates for individual home offices and volume discounts for corporate teams. Contact us for a tailored quote for your Sydney workplace.

Can you conduct ergonomic assessments for remote/hybrid workers?Absolutely. We offer virtual assessments via Zoom, Teams or FaceTime for workers anywhere in Australia, and face-to-face home assessments across Greater Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle.

What qualifications do your assessors hold? Our assessments are conducted by qualified Allied Health Professionals, such as Accredited Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, with real experience in occupational ergonomics.

Do you supply ergonomic equipment?Whilst we are independent, we research, recommend, and facilitate trials of ergonomic chairs, sit-stand desks, and accessories to ensure you get the right fit.
